Sophie Hunt is a
GOsC registered osteopath and a member of the British Osteopath Association.
Sophie graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine after completing a four year degree.
This included two years working in the college clinic and treating a wide range of problems on patients of all ages.
A masters degree in osteopathy requires being taught; clinical diagnosis over three years and completing modules in anatomy, physiology and pathology to name but a few.
Since graduating Sophie has worked at Darren Chan's Fight Factory in Purley, a kickboxing gym, where she has treated a range of kick boxing related and sports injuries.
Sophie has also worked with the Great Britain Kyokushinkai (knock down karate) team, based in Crawley.

Qualified Osteopath in Surrey
All Osteopaths must be fully insured and registered with the General Osteopathic Council. The General Osteopathic Council regulates
the practice of osteopathy in the United Kingdom. By law osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) in order to practise in the UK.
As an experienced and registered osteopath, the practice
offers help to both adults and young people, including
osteopathy for babies.
Patients come from several sources, self-referrals, from general practitioners and from hospitals.
You can contact Sophie directly to either find out more about the nature and process of osteopathic treatment or to make an appointment.
You can also consult your GP who
will be able to help you make the decision whether osteopathy
treatment
is appropriate for your specific problem and make a referral.
A hospital consultant can
refer you for treatment and I am able to provide osteopathy
treatments to patients with private health cover, who can normally
claim back my fees, with all the main
Health Insurance Companies in the UK.

Surrey Osteopathy Clinic has treatment rooms which are conveniently situated in Cobham and Weybridge, Surrey with easy access by car from Esher, Oxshott, Weybridge, Byfleet, East Horsley, Leatherhead and Epsom. We are also easily accessed from the A3 and M25 motorway.
